Be Thankful for Today.

  Be thankful for today for it is a gift that is why it is called the "present". (Alice Morse Earle) I hope that everyone that watches this video will take with them something important to reflect on. College is an exciting time in so many peoples lives, but for some it can be the most difficult. Focus on the talents that make each of us special and help those around you see the talents that make them special as well. There are no problems to large in life that can't be over come with help. The first step is asking for help or reaching out to help someone we see as struggling.
  Tomorrow is a mystery that has not yet been written, do not assume to know the end of the story. Life has a way of taking us places we never thought we would go. I have learned a lot in the last year and even more in the last month about being thankful.
   My purpose in life wasn't always clear, but once I found it and embraced it I discovered how blessed I have been all along and how wonderful the discovery in tomorrow can be. I hope that everyone I know will take a moment to think of the people and things in their life that they are truly thankful for. - Chrissy

Poem Project

To demonstrate to students how light and sound can impact the audience, I showed this video in basic field production this past Wednesday. It was great to see students expressions after watching this. I then had them close their eyes and listen as I played it again. Each student will create a video based on a poem using light and sound as their first project for the semester in COMM 140 electronic field production - basic. I will post the best from the class here when they are completed.
